Joseph believes that God’s will is always redemptive. He cites 2 Kings 13:14-19 to emphasize the need to persistently strike the ground until we achieve victory. He also references Exodus 17:10-13 to highlight the importance of praying for our leaders, as they may feel burdened by the weight of their responsibilities. Joseph clarifies that God made a covenant with the land of Israel and its people, as illustrated in Joshua 1:4, and it is our duty to support this covenant.
He goes on to recount the stories of the two prophets, Ezekiel and Jeremiah, in the Old Testament, who both had prophecies regarding King Zedekiah that initially seemed contradictory. Ezekiel prophesied that Zedekiah would not see Babylon, while Jeremiah stated that Zedekiah would live out his days in Babylon and die there. Although these prophecies appeared to contradict each other at first, they were eventually fulfilled when Zedekiah had his eyes gouged out and was taken to Babylon, where he spent the remainder of his life.
Joseph emphasizes that we must rise early, for though sorrow may last for a night, joy will come in the morning. He encourages us to pray for the Strait of Hormuz, to seek clarity, to pray for the economy, for our leaders, and to bind confusion. He reiterates the importance of praying against terror on U.S. soil while also seeking supernatural intervention for the president amid the conflict with Iran. He pleads the blood of Jesus over the Strait of Hormuz, praying for safety concerning oil and binding any acts of terror in the U.S. He also prays for all men of God and church leaders, asking that they have the clarity to convey the truth in this time and guide the people along the right path.
